Male Common Redstart

One of our smartest spring migrants. They can appear almost anywhere, although are quite shy and sometimes the flash of their orange/red tail is all you see as they disappear over a hedge or stone wall. Their 'Wheet Wheet' call can be heard throughout our summer.
