Male Ring Ouzel

By Linda: As I was walking along the beach today I came upon a wet, exhausted little bird. I carried it higher up to the top of the beach as the tide was coming in. On my way back I looked for it and moved it to the very top of the shingle away from the sea. I settled it into a hollow that I scooped out. It's feathers had dried and it had fluffed itself up. I hope that I helped it to survive. I looked on RSPB to identify it and think that it was a Ring Ouzel.it looked exactly like your photograph.
